Jason L. Tillman

Jason L. Tillman is a seasoned trial attorney with over a decade of experience representing individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation matters. His practice focuses on high-stakes property damage and personal injury cases, including wildfire, fire loss, water damage, insurance disputes, and catastrophic injury claims. Mr. Tillman is known for his thorough case preparation, courtroom advocacy, and ability to manage matters from inception through trial or a favorable resolution.

Mr. Tillman represents commercial and residential property owners in large-scale property damage litigation. His work involves complex legal research, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing all phases of discovery, taking and defending depositions including experts, engaging in settlement negotiations and mediations, and trial.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Tillman built a strong litigation foundation at several prominent Southern California firms. At B&D Law Group and Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, he represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters, where he successfully negotiated millions of dollars in settlements for injured clients.

Mr. Tillman earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in the states of New York, where he received the Pro Bono Service Award and was a Member of the Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute. During this time, he was also a Student Attorney with the Criminal Defense Clinic at the Legal Aid Society of New York City, where he represented indigent clients through all stages of the criminal justice process, including arraignments, motion practice, plea negotiations, and pretrial hearings. This experience instilled in him a client-centered approach and a commitment to advocacy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Rollins College and was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society in Economics.

Mr. Tillman is admitted to practice law in the States of California, New York, and Florida. He is certified in LexisNexis and Westlaw Next and has completed advanced trial skills training including the Trial by Human seminar.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Tillman enjoys travel, live music, comedy, sports, and art.
