Biography
Sydney Desman earned her J.D. in 2019 from the Florida International University – College of Law after receiving a B.S. in Criminal Justice from University of Tampa, where she graduated early cum laude.
In law school, Sydney received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Analysis. She also received an excellence in civic engagement medallion of distinction award and was on the dean’s list in Fall, 2017, Spring 2018 and Fall 2018. In 2017, she served as the Vice President of the Family Law Society and interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office from May 2017-May 2018; August 2018-November 2018.
Since joining Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack in January 2022, Sydney has handled a wide range of matters including complex business litigation, personal injury, product liability, wrongful death, and bad faith insurance claims.
Sydney is admitted to practice law in the state of California and the state of Florida.
